The Bodom lake is a wonderful lake with sandy beaches in northern Espoo. It is also the scene of a gruesome murder in 1960, a murder that goes unsolved until today. The site of the murder is one of the most beautiful swimming spots. But obviously a sober spot as well.
There are dozens of spots where one can easily get into the water in the "murder cape" and around it. It is a nice place for a swim, regardless.
I went for a swim from the very end of the cape, from a rocky ledge. The coordinates are: N 60.24293 E 24.66561.
There is a nearby official beach, but that is of course much more popular and may not be recommended during a pandemic :-)
