Popova Shapka is one of the major ski resorts in North Macedonia. Perhaps THE major resort even. At the time I was there, however, in early season it had not yet opened. Wanted to see it though.

I also managed to spot a small cave, reported separately here. It looked like on the slopes there might be some more caves:
More information about the ski resort can be found in Wikipedia and the Ski Macedonia website. Popova Shapka is also the place where Eskimo Freeride arranges cat skiing tours. Now that would be something else, I would definitely like to try that some day!
