There's a nice road going alongside the Velskolan pitkäjärvi (Velskola's long lake). Unfortunately, parking is very difficult to find. Or public swimming spots!
Fortunately, I found a rowing boat harbour with just enough space to park my car for few minutes. The front of the Volvo was almost hanging on top of the cliff above water... but it stayed there.
I, on the other hand, was busy swimming in the lake. There was no proper place to swim, but it was possible to go to the water from one of the spots where boat was missing. And what a wonderful lake water, soft, clear, warm water. In sunshine. A nice experience.
I was swimming here: N 60.29847 E 24.64257.
