Planetskier: Very Finnish Party

This is how we do picnic in Finland. Rain, hail, cold, jackets, sulking under what cover we might find.

Well not really. We had a wonderful office party in the Vallisaari island in Helsinki, a recently opened military island with bunkers and other military installations from the past few centuries. And when the hail got too hard, we took shelter in the tunnels. But mostly, the weather was OK or even sunny. And we had fun, we had several new people join the team recently -- for some this was their first day at the "office". Nice!

There's by the way plenty of small underground bunker places to visit in Vallisaari. This time I did not visit others than the one the one in the pictures below, but the most interesting ones are in the adjoining island, Kuninkaansaari, at the Kuninkaansaaren linnake.
