Planetskier: The Volvo is alive, again! And even legal...

It’s alive! It has been in indecision state for five months and in the shop for more than a month, but now back on the streets! (Legally)

New parts include steering gears, brakes, fuel pump, seat belts, tires, etc, and there was also some hull work. Twenty fixes altogether.

Indecision had to do with whether this was all worth it 🙂 Not at all sure it was. It was VERY expensive. The shop owner offered his nice Jaguar (10+ years younger than my car) for more or less the same price. Still, I chose wrongly!

See you on the road! If I’m waving, it’s probably because I have had a breakdown, please pick me up.

On and off-piste skiing on all continents, skiing into craters of live volcanoes, climbing, photography, and travel."
